I love church hymns. I don’t seem to care that I’m not religious that way, but the fact that they were written to be comforting always makes me safe. I like that humans have wanted to make each other feel safe.

Thought of the Day

If you get a tattoo it’s like keeping a moment with you, the moment when you wanted something so much you put it under your skin, and you keep that forever. And maybe if you keep enough moments then it rips and pulls whatever time fabric there is when you take them with you, and then you save yourself from having to deal with time, in one way.
